Guest guest
Hi , I have no idea if there is a connectin between taking Synthroid and burning in the sun, but 'spookily' enough, I have been thinking along the same lines as you. First time the sun came out this year, I enjoyed a half hour lunch outside with a neighbour, then suffered for more than 3 weeks, if not longer, with a terrible sun burn to the top part of my chest, below my neck. Even more spooky was the fact that I did not peel. (But I wonder whether lashings of Aloe Vera helped me on that score.) Anyway, since then, whenever I have ventured out into the harsh rays of our sun, I have used sun block 45 plus, and have not experienced any problems since. I too, have a slight tan, but I tend to stay indoors, as much as I love the sun, the sun does not love me. But it would be interesting to find out if others have had the same experience too.
