Guest guest
Hello, I joined this group because my doctor has informed me that I am gluten sensitive. In order to improve my health, and change my diet, I enrolled in a " gluten free " cooking class. In the class, everyone was saying that gluten sensitive people had " Celiac Disease " , which my doctor had not told me about. Just for my information, what is Celiac Disease, and is gluten sensitivity the same thing as Celiac Disease? How is Celiac Diagnosed? (Someone in the cooking class talked about having a colon biopsy. My gluten sensitivity was diagnosed with a blood test.) I don't think I have Celiac Disease, but every time I tell someone that I am gluten sensitive they ask me if I have Celiac. Any information you can give me to clear up my confusion would be appreciated. My doctor did not say I had Celiac Disease, and I had never heard of it before the cooking class.
