It is a comfort knowing that there are others out there who have experienced the same emotions that we're having now. I have an appointment to see Dr. Jahrsdoerfer (ENT) at UVA. However, from reading the previously posted messages, I'm starting to worry that he is retiring??? Is he planning on retiring? Does anyone know his plans? And has anyone heard of Dr. Sismanis (MCV)? Do you know of any other ENTs who specialize in bilateral atresia? And as for Plastics, is Dr. Brent retiring? If so, who would you all recommend? And did you bring your child to the plastic surgeon while he/she was an infant? Or can you wait until he/she reaches 5 years old (when the surgeries are recommended)?
