Guest guest
Thanks Lucy. It's odd, I feel so much better since I stopped working, that I wonder if I should be working. Does that make sense? If I could do my job at this pace, it would be fine. I just couldn't keep up. Then I start feeling guilty, like I COULD be working. The problem is that I can't do MY job. And if I tried to do something else...well, I can't be on my feet for more than 20 minutes due to my back; I can't sit for more than a half hour (same reason). Can't work in a store, cant't stand and since my last stroke I have serious problems with numbers and my balance, I don't know what else I could do! I can't lift more than 5#. Any ideas? I feel like a fraud, since I stopped working, I feel fine! Where do I go from here? LOL, Judy O
Guest guest
My guess is you are running a home, looking after family members and taking care of your own medical needs. that is a full time job-worthwhile job-don't feel guilty. Enjoy the opportunity to work at your own pace at home. Feeling good at home and sustaining the effort week after week at a paid job is a different thing. Guest guest
Lucy, it's true, that I do all that, but I did that and worked 40+ hours too and travelled. It's just weird, I can feel how my body and my blood pressuer have slowed down and it is wonderful. I just feel like I should be doing more. I'm sure I'll get over it!!
