Guest guest
We went for our app. at CT this week. Our clinician said that Logan will have another 4 weeks in this band, as he is quickly outgrowing it. That will make 13 weeks total in the band. There are still some areas that are asymmetrical and she said we will not see 100% correction. Logan had moderate plagio to start with (8mm) We took some new measurements but he was extremely active during the measurements (so I am not sure how accurate they are) but they didn't show as much improvement as we thought we were seeing. Now the clinician said if she was seeing Logan for the first time, he would be borderline as to if she would recommend banding or not. We aren't sure what we want to do now! We drive 3 hours each way to our CT apps. and were really looking forward to being done. Also, we were happy with the improvements that had been made until we heard the current measurements and then started really scrutinizing his head again. Logan is almost 10 mos. now so she couldn't guarantee we would see a lot more correction but thought we would see some. I'm really confused at this point and am looking for advice from others who have been there. Thanks, Amy in NY Logan 9 1/2 mos old in Doc band 9 weeks
