First, thanks to all who have responded and answered my questions before.

We now have a new problem I'm hoping someone has some information about.

Husband has a new pain. It's in an area just below his right hip bone

and is somewhat sharp and continuous. Three doctors, MRI and x-ray

have giving no clue as to what is happening. He is convinced it's

related to his MM but his doctors, one a MM specialist, are at a loss.

He says it is not a deep pain and it appears to be starting to happen

on the left side now as well, though not as bad.

Have any of you had this or similar pain? Our confidence in, and care

from the doctors is less than encouraging and so far, it's been here

where I've gotten the best answers.

Any information or suggestions would be much appreciated.

Just a guess here, but if the muscle and ligaments in the hip area are

weak, that is a large joint to not have the proper support it needs. I

don't know what could be done, but could that maybe be causing it or

making it worse? Pain isn't always felt in the exact same spot as where

the problem is either. Does he take glucosamine by any chance? I had a

great deal of hip/pelvic area pain until I started taking the

glucosamine. It helps lubricate the area and help repair the tendons

and ligaments. I can't think of anything else.
