Thanks, Cheryl!

At the King Arthur Flour site, you can get 4/$14.95.

http://shop.bakerscatalogue.com/items/Toaster_Bags___Set_of_4.html

They also have a good selection of GF seasonings and a few baking

mixes.

The other site, Toast-A-Bags is charging $19.99 for 4.

I don't know anything about these bags but am thinking about ordering them for my celiac sons. Are they a one time use or are they reusable? Sneak preview the all-new Yahoo.com. It's not radically different. Just radically better.

I bought a couple of packs of 'Toast-It' bags:

http://www.allergygrocery.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Screen=PROD & Store_Code=AG & P\

roduct_Code=1833

from Miss Roben's Allergy Grocer for when I travel. These are $5 for 2

bags, and are reusable. Most times I just wipe out the crumbs, and let

them air-dry, but I've also washed them with soapy water and then

rinsed them.

As for how good they are: I definitely wanted them for when traveling

when there was a 'dirty' (meaning gluten) toaster. Most times my bread

had to be toasted twice at the highest setting. The only things I

toasted were bread and waffles, and both did well, as long as I put

them down two (or sometimes three) times.

The bags are reusable, but they definitely have a finite life. After

being used 10 or 15 times, my bags got holes in them (small holes, but

holes), so I threw them away after that.

But to me, they were definitely worth the cost.

The site I sent in below sells bags that are made of thick mil

plastic. They are supposed to be good for hundreds of uses. THe old

Pampered chef bags were only said to be good for 10 uses. There is a

caution I read about not filling the bag with water during washing if

you were holding it by the handles, that is too heavy for the handles.

The other site, Toast-A-Bags is charging $19.99 for 4.

Also, with HSN, if you buy multiples, they reduce shipping costs on the others.

I don't believe the above statement to be true. I just ordered some (two sets) and I was charged $4.95 EACH box. They did it as two seperate orders even. It sort of ticked me off, to be honest with you.

Have a gluten free day!
