Guest guest
I know this won't pertain to many of you, but still thought it worth the post. If you live in the Seattle area, there is a conference on April 1. It is at the University of Washington and it is free and for anyone interested in learning about the ear, hearing loss, coping strategies and current research. It is called " Ears, Hearing, and Beyond " . I am posting a link, but I don't know if that will work. If not, then type in Virginia Merrill Bloedel Hearing Research Center in address bar, get to website and click on events. http://depts.washington.edu/hearing/pdf/EHB_brochure_a.pdf They have the conference every two years. Although my son's ENT spoke at the last one, no one told me about it, and I would have liked to have gone. So, if the academics can't get the word out, then I am determined to do my part. Hope it helps someone.
