I was quite humiliated, as I lived in the same town in which the meetings were held, and I would see all the women I used to weigh at the shops all the time. Bev, I was doing one other thing you didn't mention, to loose weight. Last year I was actually injecting Human Growth Hormone!. It came from America, to Sydney, then up to me in little esky boxes. It was costing over $1,000 a month, and I lost about 12kgs in the 3 months I was on it. The scary thing about it was that there wasn't any studies on the long term effect of taking HGH. I felt like some kind of scientific experiment by injecting it every morning. That was when I decided to get banded.
