Guest guest
I enjoy the stories about the horses... I wish I had some or lived close enough to help you with them. Judy M in OhioHamilton & Feeser wrote: Thanks, Clara... I'm glad it's over, too. And as far as the rest of the weekend being better... well, there's still one more day of weekend left, so I'm holdin' out hope! Today was good actually... didn't do anything which is I'm sure apparent by how much time I've spent on the computer. LOL. I'm home alone tonight. is out at the cabin and went to a church banquet and is staying in town with a friend. I'm a chicken-poop when I'm by myself so I have the TV on for background noise... of course every time I think I hear something outside, I have to turn the sound down. Still have to go outside one more time tonight to feed Willow the geriatric mare. She gets a 3rd feeding at about midnight because her old choppers aren't able to chew hay anymore. I always take my cell phone, a flashlight, and a pocket knife with me just in case I have to fight off coyotes or something. Yeah, right... I'd probably just pass out and pee myself if I ran into anything in the dark. I might just drive up to the paddock tonight. The people on the neighboring ranch are out of town, so there'd be nobody to hear my screams. I left the mini horses' gate open earlier this evening when I fed. Usually they follow me into their stall. Not tonight... Summer ran right out the gate. Took me about 25 minutes to catch her. It was already dark outside, so I couldn't find her with the flashlight. At one point, I was able to grab her long unruly mane, but she pulled away and took off, bending my pinky fingernail back. It was actually Willow who helped me get Summer back in the paddock. She can't stand the minis, so they're in paddocks that are about 50 yards apart from each other. Well, Summer got a bit too close to her paddock and Willow started snorting and blowing, which was enough to send Summer stampeding back to her paddock. I got there just in time to open the gate for her. Left out the details of one other not so bright moment in my previous crappy day email... while I was just getting ready to get showered before Friday night's party, knocks on the back sliding glass door of my bedroom on her way up to feed the critters to tell me "this thing back here is leaking and flooding the backyard". The only "thing" back there is a 11,000 gallon above ground pool. Threw some clothes on and went out to see gallons of water spewing out of the pump/filter system thingy. The whole back sidewalk looked like a river. Apparently, because I didn't winterize and take off the hoses, etc., the water in the filtration thingy froze up. From what I could tell, the water couldn't get through so it broke through the seals or something. I was able to shut off the hose leading from the pool into the pump system and then had to break the ice in the pool to reach in and screw a plug into another hose opening. I miss , my pool guy... unfortunately one must have money in order to employ a pool guy. Soooo, tomorrow I'm going to try to disconnect whatever needs to be disconnected. My next hubby will be more of a handy man... either that, or he'll be able to afford me a cute pool guy. ;-) hugs,janetp.s. Bet y'all are wishing I'd get a life and get off the 'puter and stop rambling so much. I really do have stuff to do. Still have a nekkid tree that needs to be decorated. Can't do that tonight though. No mini blinds in the living room and I'd be a-skeered that someone would be peaking in at me. See, I am a chicken-poop when I'm home alone. Yahoo! Guest guest
Our insurance is Tricare/Humana for retired military and there are no doctors in our area that accept this one. We have a choice of Waco or Conroe or the Woodlands. We are thinking about switching to the plan that has a higher copay, costs 3 times a s much and has a huge deductible because of all the travel. By the time I take all this travel time off work it is costing us the same. And yes I have to go again on Thursday. I am really sick of Doctors right now. I have been so sick for the last 3-4 weeks and today I looked up the new pills I've been taking and sure enough I have been experiencing all the side effects. Last night my restless legs (that creepy feeling) and the leg cramps were so bad I was up most of the night. The extreme fatigue and yet not being able to sleep, the muscle and joint pains, nightmares, headaches and get this weight gain. Just what I needed. I am thoroughly disgusted. Guest guest
Grammy Pat, Partner, you are in my prayers for relief from all of your illnesses. I know it has to be so discouraging to go to doctors over and over and then get medication that causes more side effects than the original problem! Maybe new doctors would be able to help - - I think sometimes the doctors we see over a long period of time don't really care as much as they should; some of them just prescribe medications for what you describe instead of doing tests and finding out what is really wrong. This sounds like the same problems is having - - - his medications cause more complications than the help they are supposed to be giving. But you have to hang in there until you find the right doctor who can help you - - - I've always thought that I would go to & White Clinic in Temple if I couldn't get relief from local doctors; they seem to know what they are doing there!! I know several people here in Midland who went there for a diagnosis - - Keep us posted on your progress - - (((HUGS))) Clara
