Hi Deb!

Welcome to our group! I hope you'll like it here. I'm glad you've

already checked out our files as they're full with all sorts of good

information.

Good luck with your new lifestyle and don't hesitate to ask questions

along the way.

years old and I live in the Chicago suburbs with my husband and two

sons. I am just starting on SB after trying Nutrisystem for a few

months and that is outrageously expensive but did work some.

Unfortunately, all the soy in the foods makes an existing thyroid

condition much worse for me.

Went to the store yesterday and got some SBD legal foods and this

morning noticed that I got the full fatted versions as opposed to the

low-fat. I can't see wasting it so I am going to use what I have

until I run out and then get the lowfat versions of things like

ricotta and cream cheese. How much would that hurt me do you think?

Just a rhetorical question I guess.

How did you know I checked the files?

I have a yahoo group for a different purpose I didn't know you could track that.

As far as the group right now I am in the info gathering phase. This morning I

ordered both the diet book and the cook book. So hopefully in a few days will be

underway with it.

Thanks for taking the time for a personal note.

Hi Deb,

My doctor put me on the South Beach Diet. I hope this really works.

He said his other patients has loss a lot of weight. I started

yesterday. I'm glad I did so far. I feel better knowing that this is

healthier than taking all those diet pill I was taking.
