Guest guest
Thank you for playing ! LOLWhat I have noticed "so far" is we have no Gemini, Scorpio or Sagittarius. E and Sue are both Pisces, but i don't know if they are hypo, or hyper. The palm thing scares me a bit, I have the break down toward the bottom of my palm, so If I read it as the beginning being under my pointer finger, down towards the bottom being my older years, it has a break, a strong start again and then it's gone... that's the part that scares me!JackieHi I'm a cancer and Have Cancer, a break in my line on palm and am Hypo. Guest guest
Hashi's is Hashimoto's Disease. It's auto-immune and kills off the thyroid gland, you end up hypo ........Meleese -------Original Message------- From: Ken & Jackie Reimer Sorry Meleese, I did get it, I have you down as hypo. help educate me, Hashi IS hyper? Guest guest
Cindy Has even one of these doctors suggested or done a scan or ultrasound on your thyroid recently? Are any of these nodules solid and "cold" in nature, according to the reports? Are any of them hot nodules, i.e., producing their own thyroid hormone, at intervals, throwing it out into your system all at once? If you haven't been working, why have you been put off of medical assistance from the government system, do you know? With a MULTInodular goiter, you are in need of SOMEthing done as in NOW, this is crucial, in your case. That many nodules usually can't be shrunk or they don't go away, and some may get worse, or, I should say, they WILL get worse, with no treatmnet at all. This thing can puff up around your windpipe and cause choking, esPECIALLY with that many nodules in it. Yes, it sounds like you have definitely gotten hold of a bunch of idiots who have medical licenses (sort of like a 3 yr old carrying a loaded gun, huh??!!). But the one who REALLY slays me is the one who sits and goes to sleep. Gee, it must be nice to sit back and collect a big salary doing that. Did you finally ask him/her if they were soon volunteering for a sleep study, because that's the only use they have in this lifetime?? Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeekkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkkk!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! P.S. I know that noone wants to really lose their thyroid, but a multinodular thyroid usually has to come out, as the nodules can cause trouble trouble trouble, and that many do not go away. Re: curious, astrology? Currently I have no treatment. I had state assistance at the beginning of the year but that ran out. The last doctor I saw in March said I have "chemicals" in my blood (meaning the antibodies) that could effect my thyroid but they weren't at the time. He would not respond when I said those "chemical" should not even be there in the first place. This same doctor also told me that my thyroid had nothing to do with my metabolism. (I'm 30 lbs overweight and extremely frustrated because no amount of dieting or exercise does anything. I have this yo-yo weight thing that every couple of years I gain or loose anywhere between 20-80 lbs. for no apparent reason, it just does. No change in diet or exercise it just comes and goes.) Because I am usually sick with one thing or another, usually I get this thing where my heart rate increases really really fast, even when I'm just resting, and I get dizzy and sick to my stomach and my head feels like its going to explode and my chest gets really tight and I start sweating profusely and it seems like everything goes all out of whack, then I'm okay but really really weak and tired afterwards. I also go through times where I become severely hypoglycemic, as in my blood sugar level drops below 30. (I have a glucometer and my family tests me when it happens and we keep records of it, though every doctor I went to between October, when I was diagnosed with multinodular goiter thru March this year, ignored it.) This makes it difficult to keep a job so I have been unemployed since last October. I started doing independant work but that isn't working out either. I am actually looking for a job and I am very honest in interviews but no luck so far. I also found out that I have VA benefits that I was unaware of so I'm waiting for that to get processed through so I can start seeing the VA docs. Maybe I'll have better luck with them. The doctor I went to prior to the March doctor, kept falling asleep throughout my appointment and the doctor before that one saw me for a total of 15 mins. and pretty much gave me all the answers to every question she asked me about my symptoms. In other words, she told me what symptoms I had, which I thought was pretty amazing and that maybe she shouldn't be a doctor but a psychic, except for the fact that she was wrong. Sorry for such a long answer to your question, but I tend to get started and can't stop. I am a very frustrated person and have lost all respect and trust in any medical doctor's ability to help me. Actually in their ability at all. I'm almost afraid to get my hopes up about the VA docs. I tried self medicating but that is even touch and go because I don't always have the money to buy the medications to stay consistently on them. I stopped doing it about a month ago because I figured I was probably screwing up my system even more by going on medication and going off medication. I think all I can really do right now is wait for the VA. Cindy wrote: Cindy Has your doctor put you on "block and replace" treatment at all? What is your treatment protocol at this time? Guest guest
The first phase of Hashi's os very often hyper, before all the destruction to the gland takes place. That is because (depending on where these antibodies first attack), while the gland is still strong and basically uninjured, yet, it pumps out a whole lot of hormone for quite some time. That's why some researchers think that it may simply be sort of a variant of Grave's Disease, just a difference in the antibodies. Re: curious, astrology? Guest guest
Yeh, and what is it that we are going to do with doctors like that? Sing it Topper-----Yank their thyroids out and then tell them "it's all in your mind", "here, have an antidepressant", "here, have a diet pill", "here, have a tranquilizer", "here, swallow some TNT, and I'll light the fuse for you". Ah ho hum, I could just go on and on and on............. Re: curious, astrology? He probably has low thyroid! LOL!!!!
