Guest guest
well friends, Things do happen though very very slowly... The Insurance had wanted me to see a doctor in Jeruslaem- remember ?-- well, it turns out this doctor is head of one of the surgical wards there, and the purpose is to try and convince me to do a VGB instead of the LapBand... now, mind you, this is almost a regulation with my insurance- not just picking on me... they get the VGB cheaper, and it's more common etc.-- so they need his letter saying " i heard all the terrible awful things about LapBand and all the wonderful happy-happy things about VGB and STILL wants to do a LapBand " before they can put the final approval on my request. So the bad thing is I have to go to Jerusalem and see this doc etc.- but the good thing is it's the FINAL stage with my approval. If I come out of his office and say " I want it " they HAVE to give it to me... so I will be taking my boyfriend as backup and I hope to have the approval next week. Also, surgery will defintly be postponed-- but by a week or so, no more... and I should have the new date tomorrow or early next week... So things are working slowly but safely... making progress... everything in much more details can always be found at my site, in my journal there... I have yet to update it about the above... I love you all, ~ Dorit in Israel http://meltingpot.fortunecity.com/mali/18/
