Guest guest
Hi everyone, here again I would like to say that i am doing fine with my stent and Trach. My trach is not permanent and my voice is clear. My doctor wants me to keep it until this disease goes away and i am off all medications. I have adjusted well to the Trach. It can be uncomfortable at time, i'm not going sugar coat it. I wish i didn't have it. But if having a stent and Trach is whats going to keep me here, then so be it. I didn't know about the C-Pap machines until i got to this group. At the time i had my surgery it was either do or die. I have not had any major problems with my stent. My Pulmonary doc wants me to see a stent specialist in San diego, to see about getting a new stent. This is what i am going through now. Technology is changing so and there are probably better stents now. So he wants to send me there. I am not scared. Well okay a little, but i am not worried. If it is going to improve my physical condition now, it's whatever it takes. Take Care
