Hi

Long time no hear but glad your back in the land of the living.

I would love 1 of those cards I know when I travel I always take my Lapband

book in case I might run into trouble, but never had to show it .

Mind you I never thought to ask or if there were any warning

thing's.

I had a Medic Alert bracelet years ago for a blood condition, which has now

disappeared but I would get a bit annoyed at people asking about it at

times.

My band is not a secret but I don't go around broadcasting it either,So I'm

not sure I would want something that would draw attention to it,but if it

saves your life it can't be to bad.

I just keep my crossed that I will be with someone who knows that I have a

lapband if an emergency crops up.

There are sure to be a lot of other people in the world that have had

special surgeries and other things that like us. We have to take things as

we find them and worry later if something becomes a problem.

Any way all the best

Hi Mathew,

I also have heaps of these cards in my boot, and I always give them to my

surgeons in NSW as they do the LAP-BAND cases.

I hope you are well and doing well Mathew,
