Hi everyone,

It seems like a lot of good things have been going on around here.

Including me for once! I actually have a good report for you. It

has been 3 months and FINALLY I have some relief in the bowel

department. I think I went a whole week with out diarhea! What a

gift. That was very difficult to accept I am hoping that maybe I

won't have to accept it so much.

As far as eating it's still a struggle, but I have a little

appetite these days compared to before where I had zero. The problem

has been getting my protein most of all. So, now that fewer

things " gross me out " I think I should be doing just fine. If only I

had this appetite BEFORE surgery. I don't actually enjoy eating

yet. I look forward to eating a meal and feeling content when I am

finished.

I had my 3 month blood work done and it came back NORMAL !! Which

I was very, very happy about. I thought for sure it would be

extremely low considering how very little I've been eating.

As for exercise very little I still don't have a lot of energy so I

am still taking it pretty easy.

As for my attitude regarding my decision to do this...Much more

postive and much, much more sure of it being an extremely needed

decision. When I think of the things that " suck " about this I think

about what my life would still be like if I didn't and then it eases

my mind.

I just wanted to let all the pre-ops know that it really, really

sucks in the beginning for some(like me) and only now am I realizing

what a major LONG TERM IMPROVEMENT I have made instead of a long term

mistake. It's a huge, huge decision and it is going to take a toll

on your body, but I think the benefits are worth it in the end.

That's just my opinion.

My stats so far are 60 pounds gone in 3 months! I'm half-way already

Thank God!

Brigid
