Some kids can grow out of them pretty quick. It all depends on the child's grow spurts. My nephew grew out of band within 2 months, which CT said was unusual. They ended up paying for their 2nd band since he grew out of the band so fast. Ask your clinician about it the next time you go for an adjustment.

My DS's have only been in their bands about 6 weeks and some areasseem pretty thin already. What is the fastest anyone has outgrowntheirs? I can't see these lasting 4 months at this rate.Thanks,

Do you mean CT " paid " for the 2nd band, or your nephew's family did?

From what my brother told me, CT paid for the 2nd band. I know they don't do this all the time. But I guess every now and then they do.
