Sorry if this subject has come up before, but I just realized that

there seems to be a co-orelation with Austen's hyperactivity and

negative behavioral patterns and explosive bowel movements. He has

been doing so well at school and at home....very cognitively aware

and conscious of cause and affect. He graduated from preschool two

weeks ago and SAT THROUGH THE WHOLE CEREMONY like a judge.... serious

and aware of the solemnity of the situation.(I have it on video to

prove it!). Suddenly out of the blue,a few days later, after a

energetic game of throwing balls, he came in the house sweaty and

jumping out of his skin. He was as hyperactive as he has ever been

and the good behavior patterns that he had established suddenly

evaporated. He has been on a regressive pattern ever since, but one

thing I have noticed that I never really put together before, was the

awful diarrea and gas that came along with the downslide. He is not

acting sick, only gassy and alternately constipated or full of watery

poop. Can anybody shed some light on this situation? He was also

sleeping through the night until this episode. Now he is back to

waking up three and four times. This has been going on for over a

week now. I am so bummed. I really thought that we had crossed the

bridge! There is nothing different with diet or meds. I had him

checked out with his doc but everything seems to be fine although

organic acids were not tested...
