Guest guest
I believe it got started as an alternative for those who don't prefer to pray when someone asked for prayers for someone having surgery. I think it is an obscure and tongue-in-cheek reference to Santoria, a form of voodoo practiced in the U.S., in which chicken sacrifices play an important part. Guest guest
Dearest Joy: First I am so glad you are feeling so good and that your sweet hubby has progressed past all the complications and believe me I was swinging fresh frozen ostriches, (thought my arms were going to fall off!! LOL) and I burned enough candles that I am sure I raised the temp. in the neighborhood by at least 3 degrees!! Anyway I think you explanation about the chickens is really good! It depends on what we are trying to accomplish as to the size and species, (something about bigger is always better!!) Stay well my friend I know that your feet now walk on those new garden stones as you learn each day about your new gift.
