Guest guest
Hi Amy, Sorry this welcome comes late, but it's a little nuts in my house. My sister gets married next Friday and it seems like there is constantly something that comes up that has to be dealt with. I am Debbie and I have two kids, and . is 6 and has a moderate SNHL. She is currently mainstreamed in first grade and is the only child in her school that wears hearing aids. She also has an FM unit that they use at school. We didn't discover her loss until she was 2 1/2. Because of the late diagnosis she had a rather large language delay. She has come a long way in the past 3 years, but still has some difficulties to overcome. is 3 and has passed all of his hearing tests, but still doesn't listen that well ;o) This is a wonderful group of parents. I'm glad that you're here. Debbie Some men see things as they are and ask why. Others dream things that never were and ask why not. G.B Shaw --------------------------------- Yahoo!
