ALTERNATIVE TO BOTTLED FLAVORED WATER AND CLUB SODA

I know it was mentioned about drinking club soda instead of diet soda.

Unfortunately, I cannot stand the after taste of club soda and the flavored

sodas that are on the market.

About 2 months ago I found davinci syrups that are sugar free made with splenda

which is supposed to be made from real sugar. I put it in either bottled water

or my cold tap water from the refrigeratro.

It is like $8.00 for a 750 ml bottle but it lasts me like almost a month taking

a 20 oz bottle of water each day to work. You can also find it at some

supermarkets but they have alot of flavors on their website. I personally have

only tried peach, raspberry, and strawberry. They have like butterscotch and

other exoctic flavors also.

Anyway, for me this way the water does not have that aftertaste like the

flavored bottled waters on the market.

I LOVE the Davinci syrups! You can buy vanilla and hazelnut flavors at Wal

Mart, but of those, I only like the vanilla. I use them in teas, coffee,

and protein shakes. I make Italian cream sodas out of them with the club

soda and the syrup and a bit of cream or half and half. YUM! or you can

skip the cream, and have similar to what you make, Janet. I havent tried

it without carbonated water tho! I also like the crystal clear flavored

waters at Kroger (they have splenda in them, beware of similar products at

wal mart, they have nutrasweet!) They are carbonated, but not club sodas.

My favorite flavors for shakes and stuff is caramel, chocolate, vanilla,

white chocolate, english toffee, and irish creme. They even have an egg nog

flavor! (seasonal) My daughter likes the strawberry one really well. I

have used them for like, four or five years now.
