Guest guest
After an initial diagnosis of Shy-Drager, my mother's doctors have decided that she has Parkinson's Plus complicated by cardiopulmonary hypertension. I haven't been able to find out exactly what is meant by Parkinson's Plus. My sister said that the doctor described it as Parkinson's at one end of the spectrum and Alzheimer's at the other. That didn't clarify things very well. Mom is apparently responding to medication for Parkison's, but I don't understand what that means in terms of this particular diagnosis. Is there a source of information that explains this in clear, unambiguous terms? I could use some specific details. LD
