Guest guest
I gained 4.50 lbs. 3 lbs. out of leeway. I knew it because I have been sick all week and haven't exercised. I ate right and drank my water but didn't do a thing in the exercise department. Today is the first day I actually felt good. It will be off next week. Maybe it was all the Nyquil, Tylenol Cold and Flu, and Robotussin I took every night. WHO KNOWS! It will be gone next week. I am upset and tired of jumping in and out of leeway. This is getting really old. I am glad this happened on my 7 off so I can focus more on and have more time to exercise. I also bought me one of those big blue exercise balls tonight. I will blow that up tomorrow. It's to be used for my posture but it comes with a bunch of exercises I can do with it as well. No exercise. Had a food chart. Drank 64 pluz oz. of water every day Contacted my team Contacted my partner. Met my challenges as best I could. My partner I know met her challenges. I challenged one of my chapter members to do one more round at Curves this week each day and she did it! She texted me tonight to let me know. I also sang a song with my chapter and we all got up and danced together. I am attaching the pictures from my mom's camera. I had The Jefferson's Theme Song with me and I played and we sang and danced to.... " We'll We're Moving On Up! " It was sooooo much fun. I hope to do it again some day. I hope these pictures went through. Melody....please tell me how to resize my stupid pictures. I can open them in Paint and hit edit but it doesn't work. HELP! My mom is able to do it and I tried but it just didn't work. Yahoogroups.com won't let me send them because they are too big! ARGH! Thanks! Guest guest
Thanks a lot . And I can't believe you get up before 5:30 every morning and do your exercise tape. Oh my gosh! I can't remember the last time I got up before 10 a.m. unless I'm going to work. LOL! I sure wish I was a morning person. Someone share some tips and articles on HOW to be a morning person and get up early! LOL! Re: roll call/exercise (george) Well, , at least your gain wasn't a surprise. The unexpected ones are the ones that hurt the most. I know you'll be back in leeway next week. You always seem to do it. Right now my scales still have me above leeway by two pounds. I usually loose over the weekend, so maybe I can at least turtle on Monday night. That will still have me over leeway by one pound. I have been exercising this week. Doing the one mile tape every morning at 5:30 AM after I watch the scrapbooking show on PBS. I am just so tired when I get home in the evenings. I never thought it would happen, but I think I am beginning to feel my age!!! You hang in there, . I know you will do it!!! Guest guest
Someone share some tips and articles on HOW to be a morning person and get up early! LOL! * * * * , there "AIN'T NO WAY" to make yourself into a morning person - - that would be like changing your hair color from black to natural blond! It won't happen!! I am 65 years old, I have never been a morning person, and never will be! As far as I'm concerned, these people who get up at 5:30am (willingly), are WEIRD!! But then they would probably think "I" am weird because it is not unusual at all for me to read a good book until 1 or 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning! And I even did that when I was working and had to drag myself out of bed at 6:30 to go to work!! My husband goes to bed HOURS before I do - - but then he's up at 5:30 or 6:00 every morning! But that's good - - - he get's his quiet time in the mornings, and I get mine after he has gone to bed and gone to sleep! LOL I'M WITH YOU - - - - SOMEBODY ELSE CAN HAVE THE EARLY MORNINGS!!! Guest guest
Bummer Clara. I thought there was a way I could " fix " it. Oh well. I will just keep enjoying my sleep! LOL! I get home from work around 12:30. I usually put on my sleeping clothes and clean up a little and then hop down on the couch to watch one of my DVD's through Netflix or something that I taped while I was at work. After I get tired, which takes awhile since I'm trying to unwind after work, I go walk Jordan for the night and go to bed. I usually go to bed between 2 and 3 a.m. Sometimes later. I set my alarm for 10 a.m. but I snooze until 11 or 12! LOL! I leave the house around 12:30 or 12:45 to make it to work by 1:30. That's during the week. The weekends are even more rushed. On my 7 off I do the same thing. I sleep until noon BUT I do stay up at night until 2 or 3 or later. I'm usually watching TV, listening to music, cleaning, playing with Jordan, hanging out with my neighbors, or playing on the computer. It would be nice to pull out my book and read but, sadly, the only things I read are my e-mails! LOL! I will admit it...I read my Harry Potter book in the bathroom! LOL! I bring it to work with me but never read it. I ready it in the bathroom though! LOL! I guess I'll never be a morning person. My mom wants to sleep late but can't. She always gets up early. I want to get up early but always sleep late. I just can't do it. Ugh! Laziness...a sign of hunger! LOL! Guest guest
I agree with Clara on this one !!!! I am NOT a morning person !!!!! I don't get up as early as I did when I was working full time now -- do have to get up around 7:30 2 mornings a week and 8 for 3 mornings. I LOVE staying up late ...... watching movies (I rent from Netflix too !!!!! ) and play on this computer !!!! And my hubby goes to bed early and gets up earlier than me too ~ so thank goodness I have some time to myself too !!! AND ~ you mentioned putting on your 'sleep clothes' and sometimes walking Jordan late ~ hope you have 'proper' sleep clothes !!!!! Course, you live in Houston ~ see ALL kinds of sights there !!!!!!! Guest guest
LOL! You should have seen me Wednesday night. I was in shorts and flip flops with a long sleeve shirt on screaming at Jordan to hurry and go potty because I was freezing. She was taking her time out there. LOL! My sleep clothes, didn't know what else to call them because they are not pajamas, are a tank top and shorts. That's about it. It stops the stupid chest pain to wear a tank top or no shirt at all. Too cold without a shirt. The cold weather doesn't seem to bother Jordan even though you can see her shivering trying to use the bathroom. She refuses to wear a sweater or anything so I just let her freeze out there. It was like 35 that night. Re: roll call/exercise (george) I agree with Clara on this one !!!! Guest guest
I'm LOVIN' this colder weather !!!!!! Yesterday I was behind a truck that was going about 10 miles under the speed limit in town (45) and when I passed him he had the cutest little Chihuahua sitting on his shoulder in a sweater !!!!! Thank goodness with all my dogs they can go outside the doggie door or I let them out at times to do their business ~ none of them would know how to act on a leash !!!!!!! That's what's great about being in the country !!!! Hugs, Randie Re: roll call/exercise (george) Someone share some tips and articles on HOW to be a morning person and get up early!
