Kinickkinick has a delicious bread but when I last bought it it was unsliced. recently put up a newsletter from them that I believe said it was now sliced. Tasted like cake.

I but the rice-pecan bread and your right you need to toast it and cut the crust off. I'm looking for something that actually resembles "Wonder" bread.

Debby,

The bad news is that none of the gfcf breads are going to resemble

" Wonder " bread. The good news is, that most of the little ones will

adapt to eating the substitute bread once they've abstained from the

real stuff for a while.

My son used to eat the Rice and Almond bread made by " Food for Life " . We

have switched to the white rice bread from " Food For Life " simply

because it is not as sweet and he basically lives on peanut butter and

jelly when we are on the road.

Good luck.

Debby,

Kenny eats this bread, but I usually toast it first.

And he is a very picky eater. It is a plain white

bread.

2 oz of avocado is 2 points, 2 slices of bread would be 4, cheese would be 2 points per slice

-----Original Message-----From: Sharon M Sent: Thursday, August 21, 2003 12:49 PMTo: Weight_Watchers_Member_Support_Group Subject: Re: Another QuestionAvocado and cheese are not the same as avocado and turkey, cause cheese would be higher in points than turkey cause it's higher in fat. I'd just give it the same points as the avocado and turkey with mayo, because the extra fat in the cheese will take the place of the extra fat in the mayo that you didn't have. It's better to overestimate than underestimate ... well, sometimes anyway.Sharon----Original Message Follows----Reply-To: Weight_Watchers_Member_Support_Group To: Weight_Watchers_Member_Support_Group Subject: Another QuestionDate: Thu, 21 Aug 2003 00:59:46 +0000Hello Everyone,Thank you for your help earlier today. I made it to my visiting weigh-in,up 1.4..It's good though, I really needed it. Now, I'm back on track. On 2 my other question of today.I need to figure the points for a sandwich from Togo's.It's a veggie sandwich, Avocado & Cheese. It's basically the same asAvacado & Turkeywhich dotti's zone says is 15.5 points. However my sandwich had no mayo andnoturkey, just everything else. Now, how many points do you think I could take offfor these items? By the way I already checked the website they don't listthis sandwich.I want your help because I don't want to be bias!Ta Ta For Now,Rosie Losing In Cali!200/187.6/180 (10%)Next Weigh In 08/21/2003_________________________________________________________________Chat privately with Bon Jovi, Seal, Bow Wow, or J Blige using MSNMessenger! http://www5.msnmessenger-download.com/imastar/default.aspx_________________________________________________________________Get MSN 8 and enjoy automatic e-mail virus protection. http://join.msn.com/?page=features/virus

I have been looking at all the recipes and they all look extremely

good. How do I know for sure which ones for each phase? Like the

desserts? Are the snickerdoodles, cheesecake, key lime pie allowed in

first phase? I see the ingredients and see that those ingredients are

all allowed during the first phase but can I really have those

desserts? A little confused it seems a little too good to be true.

,

As long as the ingredients are OK for phase I, then it is OK for you to

have. Just remember the 75 calorie sweets treat limit.

Read the list of " foods to enjoy " on phase 1. If the ingredients in

the dessert are on that list, you can have it. If the ingredients are

on the " foods to avoid list " you can't have it.
