Guest guest
Hello everyone? I am new to group here. My twin daughters have bradycephaly from sleeping on their backs however in pictures from when they were first born it looks like they had some of it then too. They have been ruled out for cranial stenosis. I can self refer with my insurance and need to find out who does banding in the state of Maine or in a neighboring state. Time is running out to get them banded as they are 14 months old now. Since they sit and stand most of the time some of it has been corrected but you can still really see the deformity. I would hate to have my girls go through life deformed. Any information that you have would be helpful. Thank you so much! Jen
Guest guest
Hi Jen, my daughter had brachy and wore a starband from age 5 to 10 mo. I am glad we got started early, but even with older babies I would band to get as much correction as possible. I can't help too much with ME. I know Boston has some places, but I've heard mixed reviews here from what I remember (you can search the old messages online) and some people choose to drive to Conn to go to Cranial Tech. Good luck with the decision. -christine > > Hello everyone? I am new to group here.
