Anything in MANASSAS is good. That is 10 minutes from Fairfax and it is on RT

66 which is straight into DC. Holiday INN is best but sometimes higher, but

better.

In DC there is a cool hotel called the HARRINGTON HOTEL. It is a 1920's hotel

and very casablanca. It is up around the FBI building around E street.

Good Luck and Congratuations!

.....wow, I am SO happy for you. I talked to you a couple weeks ago in the chat room...I will be driving 4 hours too for this ( Pittsburgh, Pa). I am looking for an inexpensive room also but am not having much luck because it is an expensive area to stay...when I went down for my consultation, I stayed at an econolodge for $70 and it was nasty....but I am sure that we can find somewhere that will give us a price break for staying several nights..(I have to stay a week). I am awaiting approval now and getting my pre-ops done so everything is ready to go for my surgery on 4-30.. WooHoo, I am so happy!!!

Lee,

I too have United Healcare PPO and it is through my husband's

employer, SBC Telecom. I was approved in a couple of days, I was

told that the basic criteria is a BMI of over 40.

Good Luck,

Ellen
