Guest guest
Let me give you an example. My daughter had a huge growth in her head circumference between 4-5 months. Unfortunately that was before she was banded. After that she had average growth for a while then another larger growth spurt during her 2nd month in the band. So we went from little bits of progress to a huge difference that month then back to little bits of progress. So her first band went from 5.5 months to 9.5 months. But if we had done it from 4-8 months I bet we would have seen better correction in that first band. Another way to understand this is that correction from a very high number like 19mm where we started seems to happen more quickly. We were able to get 10mm of correction(from 19mm to 10mm) in her first band. She was younger and growing more rapidly in head circumference. Now in the second band I am only expecting maybe 5mm of correction. I think of it like when dieting it is easier to lose the first 10 lbs than that last 5. One other thing is that Plagio is much easier to correct than brachy and if you have a combo like my daughter does the last bit of plagio and brachy together take more time. Does that help at all? > > > > > > > > Hi all, > > > > I know this is a very popular topic, but I wanted to get some > > > > feedback on our situation from the group.
