KC SDS/MSA support meeting.

Not getting a lot of responds. Please let me know if you or family

member or friend can attend.

The need for a support group in this area is huge.

Please respond as soon as possible.

We have set up a SDS/MSA meeting in January.

When: January 19th, 10:00 am

Where: First Presbyterian Church

1625 NW O'Brien

Lee's Summit, Mo.

Purpose: To organize a SDS/MSA Support Group for Patients, Care

givers, Family, and friends.

What I would like for us to do, is find a workable meeting place,

time and some one to head up the group.

Please bring ideas, suggestions, information and personal needs to

the meeting.

If anyone knows or has access to a Physician that has knowledge and

expertise with SDS/MSA, it would be wonderful if we could have such a

person address the group.

Also, any ideas that you could give me to help in getting this group

off the ground would be very much appreciated.

Please let me know if you are going to be able to come to the meeting

and how many will attend. This will give us a idea of how many to

expect.

I am placing a notice of the meeting in the Kansas City Star to try

and reach anyone not connected to the Shy-Drager chat line.

If you what to do the same in your area, that would be great. Also.

if you put up a flyer or information of some kind about the Support

Group at your Dr. office or hospital would be another way of getting

the word to others.

I am looking forward to seeing all of you at our first meeting.

Hopefully this date will work for everyone.
