Guest guest
Good for you ! I get the same reaction right now if anyone asks me about it. I decided since I don't have to change the world I am in to loose weight then I don't have to tell anyone I am dieting. If someone asks me for a second helping or wants me to take that brownie instead of the fruit cup I will simply say watching the weight. plain and simple! Weigh In Had my weigh in tonight. Lost .8 pounds. I was kind of bummed because I just expected it to be 1 pound but I guess it's not that much of a difference. I have been staying within my points but haven't exercised so I suppose I'm just lucky to lose. My friend I go with said I was wearing long sleeves and that could make the difference too. Total of 6.6 after 3 weeks so I can't complain. I'm just used to losing faster. I really like WW though because we went to Dairy Queen for free cone day and I was able to stay within my points (love the flex system). I don't feel deprived at all. My inlaws were here for the weekend and I was so sick of my MIL constantly asking me "what kind of butter (whatever) is that?" "how does that fit into your diet?" I kept telling her "I can eat ANYTHING!" I don't know if she was convinced. She just starting taking pills and is trying to start me on that. ..always looking for the easy way out. I told her I've learned that you just have to control what you eat and exercise if I want to lose weight. Oops, I'm rambling...sorry... Guest guest
Thanks Elissa. I think she is curious but I don't think she would like the slow pace. She did say "well I've been eating about the same as you have". I think she actually needs to eat more and then more healthy foods instead of the junk food. If she asks I will gladly give her info and tell her how great it is working for me but right now she is doing her own thing. Once she gets tired of that, or realizes it doesn't work, or is bad for her (hasn't been approved by the FDA). Then maybe she will ask. I figure in a year when I am down to my goal weight, or close that will be good proof that the program works and she will definately see it and become interested then. I probably won't see her for another month or two and will have (hopefully) lost my first 10 pounds by then. ----- Original Message ----- Would it improve with your MIL if you gave her more info about the program? Like, showed her your journal or something? I couldnt believe how easy WW and I was doing it! I can see how she'd really have trouble understanding ;-) ! -Elissa
Guest guest
Hello Everyone I weighed in today and maintained a weight of 185.5. I was out of town most of the week and was unable to exercise. I also lagged behind in my water intake. But at least I did not gain. Onward! I started going to the school track and can make it around twice without getting out of breath. I wrote it was only once but I forgot that I park a ways from the track and so count that has being one lap . I am determined to reach my goal this year. Guest guest
Gloria we all make bad choices from time to time. More than I want to admit. But you can start fresh now and next time make those good choices instead. "Just Doin' it" Grammy PatYTD_ 37.2 miles It's not that some people have willpower and some don't.
