Guest guest
Oh my goodness...I have been complaining to my neuro about the stabbing pains I get and the twitches that follow....she doesn't think that they are related to the mito. The worst ones I get are in my big toes and the bottom of my feet....I hate them. But now it makes sense. Guest guest
When I get them in my big toe, my entire leg jumps. It is strange, but I was told it was a form of neuropathy. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Tue, 31 Aug 2004 21:03:15 -0700 (PDT) > To: > Subject: Re: Stabbing Pain? > > Oh my goodness...I have been complaining to my neuro about the stabbing pains > I get and the twitches that follow....she doesn't think that they are related > to the mito. > > The worst ones I get are in my big toes and the bottom of my feet....I hate > them. Guest guest
Kathy I am with you on that one too. Likewise with the itch right afterward. I also find myself getting a bruise that itches which is weird too. Nice to know that even though we get these odd sensations.we have lots of company that experience the same:-) Cheers, Ruth _____ From: jstkathy52004 Sent: Sunday, August 29, 2004 4:29 PM To: Subject: Stabbing Pain? As I sit here reading posts, occassionally I get a HORRIBLE stabbing pain sometimes followed by a brief myoclonic jerk. Just a few moments ago, it happened in my big toe, at the top, like someone had driven a thin needle straight through it. Felt the pain all the way up to my hip. I get other incidents of this type of pain randomly throughout the day, sometimes so bad, I reflexively emmit a rather loud 'ohhhhh'. Can't help it. Just happens. Guest guest
Ruth I also have the itchy bruises. My bruises also leave a scar (looks like a faint bruise). My now it is beginning to look like a few patches of normal skin. laurie > > Reply-To: > Date: Tue, 7 Sep 2004 08:30:59 -0400 > To: > > Subject: RE: Stabbing Pain? > > Kathy I am with you on that one too.
