Dear Suzanne,

Yes, this has happened to me sometimes, when I forgot to chew well. I

didn't need to vomit, but I could feel strong beatings where my band is

located. Not really painful, though.

Thank you for introducing yourself. My turn: I am 39 yo and am

Swiss. I had my lapband in December 1997, in Lausanne, Switzerland.

I've lost only 52 lbs so far, partly due to my back problems. You'll

have the whole story in the text which will be put on the Bandsters

webpage soooooooooon. I'm working on it right now.

Dear Jenelle,

Yes I was. It seems that it was due to the morphine they gave me. So

when I had the operation on my back, last October, they gave me

something else than morphine. I think it was called petidine.

My port is also placed on the left hand side, under my breast. You can

feel it easily (and more and more as the time and kilos pass) if you

know it is there.

Nice to hear from you again ! I thought you had unsubscribed ... Let

us know the date of your op, when you know it. I don't remember where

you're from, in Australia. Is there other Bandsters near you ?
