Guest guest
Yes, Splenda is great, and I keep it around the house to make lemonade or limeade. It *is* made from sugar, and as a biochemist, I can tell you that everything I understand about it makes it HUGELY better than any other sugar substitute, to the point I would recommend that people carry around packets of it in case a restaurant doesn't have it. Acesulfame K is sometimes used to supplement its flavor, that is safe during pregnancy, so is much safer than other options. Regarding the da Vinci syrups, I have only tried Vanilla, and it is great, especially to make a " vanilla Coke " out of diet Rite. You can also find it at some supermarkets but they have alot of flavors on their website. I personally have only tried peach, raspberry, and strawberry. They have like butterscotch and other exoctic flavors also. > > Anyway, for me this way the water does not have that aftertaste like the flavored bottled waters on the market. > > Janet > >
