Guest guest
Love your name! I've been tactfully refusing cookie trays from my Mom and MIL, I can't have them in the house. The DH will eat a couple at a time in his lunch, like a normal person but I would shove them in my mouth. You are right, half the time they don't even taste good. . . . but I eat them anyway, because they are there. Amy
Guest guest
Yep, that's me...eat, eat, eat...like i am starving...not even hungry for them anymore after the first couple...now THAT'S an addiction...anyhoo.. yesterday AFTER aforementioned cookies, i had leftover turkey with melted cheddar cheese for lunch and same for dinner with green beans. This morning i am having a concoction that i love...4 hardboiled eggs chopped up with mayo and a bit of roast beef and a wee bit of swiss cheese mixed in. Egg salad with a twist. Also a cup of unsweet green tea and LOTS of water. Thanks for keeping me accountable. WE CAN DO THIS! Now you have a good day ....and Kari? You too!!!! Aradiann, (thanks for the compliment on my name...i kinda like it too...alot of folks call me Ray for short, which i also answer too...) -- Re: Aradiann Love your name! Guest guest
Hi Aradiann! Atkin's says that you should increase your carbs in 5 gram increments. You could try that. Sometimes a shock of something different shocks your body out of a rut. However, I would be careful adding too many carbs into your diet, and also be careful about the types. For instance, I would add fruit and beans before I would add pasta. In fact, I am on the maintenance level (even though I am not at a maintenance weight, my doctor requires me to not go below around 50 grams of carbs per day), but all of my carbs come from fruit, vegetables and beans. I still eat no pasta or rice, and very little bread. But I think you have to play around with what works for you. Everyone is different. Good luck! I'm happy to give any advice and support I can! Warmly, Aradiann wrote: > Thanks ...i think i am back on the " wagon " ...and feeling better each > day.
