Guest guest
Hi, - I wish I had some advice for you, but I do have lots of sympathy, for whatever it's worth. It's amazing, isn't it, that you can know all these symptoms are coming (or that they might be), and yet it's so unbelievable when they actually hit. I CAN assure you that no one has died from going hypo for six weeks, or even much longer. You may want to ask your endo if s/he would be willing to test your TSH sooner (assuming your scan and treatment schedule are flexible, too). If so, I'd stop the Cytomel now, and check at the end of the week. You might just be able to speed up the process and spare yourself a few weeks of misery. OTOH, you'd have to start the LID immediately, which may be more than your poor hypo brain can handle. In any case, it sounds to me as if it's definitely time to put the car keys away for a while, and to start letting others take over the driving, the cooking, the thinking. Good luck, and if it's any consolation, we all sympathize with your situation. NYC " J. Bronstein " wrote: > How in the world do you DO this, guys?
