Guest guest
HI and all, Thanks for sharing the websites. I have been pouring over them hoping to find that spark again. I did so well my first few weeks, then life happened and I was not able to attend meetings and things snowballed from there. I'm sure you know what I mean. I hate that I can so easily get distracted, and then once I get distracted, it takes forever for me to regain my focus! Well, I got up this morning nad *told* my hubby that he had to get the kiddos where they needed to go (I homeschool 4 kids, and they all had piano lessons this morning), and I was going to WW meeting. Well, that meant he had to take my van and left me with his work truck. Lo and behold, the clutch was messed ups and I could not get it into gear for the life of me! So I called him up crying and fussing at him (though it was not his fault), because now I can't get to a meeting again. I am frustrated that I can't find a phone number for our local WW...all we can get is the 800 number, and they said that they don't have phone numbers to the local centers. Which I thought was weird. They said that all they could do was fax them a letter to have them give me a call. ?????? So I said forget it, I could drive up there faster than that. ( Just frustrating that you can't call and talk to your local leaders. Maybe I'm viewing it all wrong. Anyway, I was curious (and no, I didn't ask WW on the phone), if I missed 2 weeks, will I have to pay for those 2 weeks? When I joined it was free registration and then just the $12 per week, which I pay weekly. But I just didn't know if I was going to be responsible to pay the missing weeks. That would hurt right now financially. Thanks again so much for the websites. Being a stay at home mom, and homeschooling all the wee ones, it is hard for me to feel connected to the group here and I so WANT to feel connected and be encouraged. Guest guest
Rhonda, I'm so sorry you're having struggles in getting to your meetings. When you DO get to your next meeting, try asking the receptionist for the number there. Hopefully they don't have " orders " to not give it out. I know the meetings are so valuable....they've meant a lot to me through my WW journey. If I can be of any help please don't hesitate to ask. I'm a homeschooler too, to two mildly special-needs kids ages 9 and 12 (although I also have some grown-up kids that were not homeschooled!). Bette in CA 278/168/160? Guest guest
Rhonda, If I am correct, you will have to pay for any missed meetings. However, you till have time this week to attend your meeting - so you would really only pay for one missed meeting. And sometimes, paying for a couple of missed meetings is cheaper in the long run than letting it slide, then watching your food slides, then your weight slides (up) and then you join and pay to lose the same weight you have already paid to lose. I understand money being tight - so you don't want to pay for the weight twice. And I always thought of I was gonna pay for those meetings regardless - so I might as well get what I paid for. If I had to miss my regular meeting I found another one somewhere come hell or high water. I believe on the weight watcher's site it will tell you all meeting places and times in your area. Hang in there - YOU CAN DO IT!!! (the other) Beth > Rhonda, > I'm so sorry you're having struggles in getting to your meetings. Guest guest
Hi Ronda, I joined up on a free thing too and the other day I found some old paperwork that explained the flex payment plan and the regular plan and it said on the regular plan you are responsible for paying for the missed meetings, but you are suppose to get 3 miss meeting passes for 6 months. I never got any miss meetings passes, but maybe they just keep a record. I would call the 800 number and ask them about payment. Rhonda wrote: HI and all, Thanks for sharing the websites.
