Hi ,

A complete physical is probably a very good idea before undergoing

any kind of surgery, so I would be more concerned if your doc DIDN'T

ask for one. Hopefully, having seen your struggle with weight over

the years, your PCP will be your advocate in this.

It just turned out that my PCP had strong personal opinions about WLS

in general. As long as that doesn't get in the way of my specific

case and desired type of surgery, I guess I can continue to work with

him. Who knows? Maybe my success will get him to come around to the

idea enough to suggest it to other patients who might benefit.

Someone else just posted recently about a Dr Vanguri... She goes by

PamJams2 @ aol.com (no spaces) and her profile on the AMOS site is

0&Z=423 She just had her consult with Dr Vanguri this month. I'll

bet she can answer some of your questions.

Good luck on Monday, and please let us all know how it turns out.

We'll be rootin for ya!
