Guest guest
Mikey You're doing better than I was at this stage. I couldn't even sit up, let alone sit at the computer. It took me about a week to feel human again. In a couple of weeks, you'll wish you'd done it sooner. Guest guest
Don't they say " no pain no gain " in this case no pain never again gain. I don't care how much it hurts, I'm still waiting with baited breath until next month. Counting the days - 28 to go. I'm having my blood test tomorrow. Guest guest
Mikey you poor darling, I can sympathise with you whole heartedly. I suffered extreme pain too and when I came home I was on " Tramal " painkillers which I since found out they give to patients undegoing Chemotherapy, but they were mighty good drugs! I do hope your pain subside it will be a little while before you start to feel kinda normal again. The bright side is, " it will get better " . Trust me ) luv Karin Aug 6th 96/89.4/something to go with red shoes!
Guest guest
Thanks Mikey for that. Nothing like encouragement after I've set my date (22 November). I'm sorry to hear that you are in so much pain. I hope you feel better soon. Did they give you pain killers to go home with? Nothing helps when your in pain. Maybe try the scotch. Guest guest
I'm so bloody jealous!!! How do you guys get all these great drugs? I have had 11 operations in my life, and absolutely NO history of addiction (unless, of course, you count food!) and you would think I was asking for flipping heroin. 24 hours after the op I had a shot of pethadine (I am allergic to voltarin and morphine) and the Prof threw a hissy fit! I would have thankfully sold several children for some panadeine forte!!
