Guest guest Posted February 7, 2001 Report Share Posted February 7, 2001 Hi everyone, I just wanted to drop a note to let all of you know how much I appreciated all the well wishes, praying and good thoughts while I was away in Spain having surgery. The first couple of days were very hard, but with every passing day it got easier and easier. The trip home was about as close to hell as you can get, but I sucked it up and made it through! I haven't had much problems except with cool liquids, they make me sick to my stomach, but I push through that and get down as much as I can. I was dealing with some depression when the first week I was home, but that all ended when I went to the doctor 13 days post-op for my check up. I LOST 33LBS!!!! I couldn't believe it! I still can't believe it! As hard as this surgery is at times, you just can't argue with the good it is doing for you. I am still dealing with little bouts of depression, but I think that is to be expected. I think some of it has to do with tiredness I am experiencing, but like I said every day is better and better. Thank you all again so much for your love and support, and I wish everyone all the success and happiness in the world. Surgery is scary but the payoff is priceless!
