Guest guest
Leanne Everyone is different, you still have had a great weight loss if you spread it over the weeks since surgery,I find the band does not give you the dramatic weight loss that we are wanting or expecting but often we remember the weight loss from other diets we have all tried which were all pretty much short term, you now have a band that should be with you for a lot longer so you have to be a little patience with it, and now and again to let it catch up with the new you.I think pretty much that most of the medical teams are quite happy with 1 kilo a week, but of course we all want more and right now. I have had my band in 4 years it has been pretty trouble free,at the moment I have 4mls in and are feeling restricted like never b4 its the feeling I expected but never had over all these years so I am happy to plod along with this feeling which at times can be a real pain in the arse but I would like to lose a bit more and the tightness is making that possible. Don't get to frustrated your body is very confused what you have done to it and your mind is worse.Give yourself a big pat on the back and take each day as it comes. All the best Vicky with a (Y)
Guest guest
Leanne I had a long plateau and lost very little for 2 months. It took 3 fills for me to feel real restriction. Like you I had good weight loss initially and it was quite disappointing when it stopped. I do think the body has to stop and adjust aswell so that couls also be part of it. I imagine you will be kickstarted again after you next fill. Angie- -- In ozband@y..., lks@d... wrote: > > I've been on a plateau for a few weeks now.
