Guest guest
Invented today, but probably not very original. 1 large onion 4 cloves garlic 2 tbsp olive oil 1 can tomato sauce 1 tsp basil 1 tsp thyme 1 tsp oregano 2 bay leaves 1/2 pound frozen shrimp, boned and with tails removed 1 tsp corn starch (if necessary) Saute the onions and garlic in the olive oil on high heat until the onions are translucent. Reduce the heat and add the herbs and the tomato sauce and stir thoroughly. Then add the frozen shrimp and cook until the shrimp are warm. Then turn down the heat and simmer for awhile, adding the corn starch if necessary to thicken. When I invented this tonight, I was surprised that the sauce actually turned out to be rather creamy. We ate it on top of whole wheat spaghetti, and it was really quite good. As far as I can tell, it is Core. -- Slainte, S.
