Guest guest
I always notice seasonal changes too. I even notice changes when the barometric pressure changes. I also am noticing a change and do every year. For me it's fall and spring and it really doesn't have anything to do with allergies. It seems the Mito rears it's ugly head when the seasonal changes are taking place. > >Alice > >

Guest guest
You can count me in too ! I've heard that people with Lupus frequently experience the same thing and they're not sure if it's because the extra sun exposure over the Summer months catches up with their immune system over the Fall and Winter. Interesting idea. Bug
Guest guest
--- I also have problems with seasonal changes. Also fall is a bad time for me...I think I overdo it in summer. dawn a In , " A ADAMS " wrote: > Since there are so many new members and they are reporting " crash " situations happening right now, I'd like to share that it has been my experience and seems to be a normal situation within my family (my Mom had severe issues) and with Fall approaching, some of these escalated symptoms that are being mentioned could be due to seasonal changes. Guest guest
Outside weather affects me only as it affects house temp, but Kansas weather being so unpredictable in spring and fall, we've had a real problem during those seasons keeping the house temp within that very narrow window that I can tolerate. A little too hot or too cold makes a tremendous difference in how I feel. We just bought a new Honeywell thermostat that will automatically switch between air and furnace as needed, and I really think this will solve a lot of the problem. Now the furnace will automatically kick on if it gets too chilly overnight, even if the air is on during the heat of the day. Number one son did all the research on thermostats and found exactly what we needed for a reasonable price. Guest guest
Funny you mention this topic. My first flare was last August, first ER vist December, second ER visit April. And we don't exactly have 'seaons' out here in California. Makes you go 'hmmmmmmm'. For several months I was having trouble with temperature regulation, but it seems to have passed. I was wearing a sweater AND had my fan on in my office. I'd get the slightest chill and I'd start shivering. I'd then get HOT HOT HOT and start sweating. It was a vicious cycle. Had it for about six months, but been doing ok for the last two, so I hope that doesn't happen again!! ~Kathy~ > > Since there are so many new members and they are reporting " crash " > situations happening right now, I'd like to share that it has been > my experience and seems to be a normal situation within my family > (my Mom had severe issues) and with Fall approaching, some of these > escalated symptoms that are being mentioned could be due to seasonal > changes. Guest guest
Temperature regulation problems are quite common with mito. It takes a lot of energy to cool a body or warm it up. jstkathy52004 wrote: >Funny you mention this topic. > >My first flare was last August, first ER vist December, second ER >visit April.
