wondering if band is still necessary

my son is 4 1/2 mos with mild plagio. At first we were sent to pt for

cmt and also to neuro for referral to cranial therapies. while we

have been waiting along time for insurance approval (2mos)we have been

repositioning and doing pt at home. I and our ped noticed his flat

spot (lower right behind ear) has rounded out alot. Our ped thinks he

no longer needs the band. From the top of his head, his ears are

slightly off center, but our DD had that as well, with no plagio and

she grew out of it by her 1st bday. He is rolling over back to front

and front to back already. We tried the bumbo seat but he didnt like

it too much. I am just not sure what we should do next, if waiting

to see how he progesses on his own or force his progress while causing

him so much discomfort? any thoughts are appreciated. Thank you.
