Guest guest Posted July 6, 2003 Report Share Posted July 6, 2003 Hello, Sorry we've been out of the loop for a bit. It's been hectic but we wanted to provide an update, say hello, and thanks! On Mon 6/30 had her whole body scan after her RAI treatment of 150 millicuries and it was clean/clear Hooooooray! She's off the LID now and slowly adjusting. We wanted to thank you all for your support through all of this. This list has been so helpful. Thank you. The Nuclear Med. dr. said she's have to have another scan in one year and she could use Thyrogen. We'll have to do more research on that method. 's still taking the Lasix because she's still retaining water. Is this common? We have no idea how long she might be puffy? She has an appt with her surgeon on 7/17 and will ask him then. She's also still taking the Ultram for general achiness. She started on Synthroid the Sun after her RAI treatment, so 6/29 and is sloooooooowly feeling better. She said that her mind is more clear but her body isn't following very closely behind as far as recovering from all of this. She went back to work this past Friday and it's tough because she's extremely fatigued and whole body tired but she's plugging away trying to get back into the swing of things.
