Guest guest
I'm surprised I don't weigh 89 pounds, I woke up just drenched in sweat this morning. I have the flu. I hate having the flu. Down .4 pounds from 114.4 to 114.0. I'm sure it's just water weight since I have no water left inside of me. ~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~'~' Tory Klementsen, MCP A+ Career and Technology Educator www.teechur.com www.msteechur.com -The successful person will do the things that the unsuccessful person will not. Guest guest
I know! It completely ticks me off. Thursday I ran and felt kind of woozy/dreamy on the run, but didn't think much of it. Afterwards, though, I felt achey and really really cold. I chalked it up to running in the rain (not heavy) and being achey from going back to weightlifting this week. Then Thursday night I woke up at 2 a.m. shivering so bad I thought I was going to bite my tongue off. I thought it might have been the pill I took for my neck (which now feels fine, ironically) and ignored it. Friday morning went to aerobics and was like " Wow! I have NEVER sweated this bad in a workout! " I'm just not a very sweaty person at all. After aerobics I felt awful, but figured I could just go to work and work through it. I toyed with calling in sick but thought, " Nope. I have lecture in every class and it's too close to the beginning of the school year. " By 3rd period I was done. I went home after 4th and slept the rest of the afternoon. Thank goodness Roy was able to take me home. I don't think I could have made it. But the biggest bummer is that I had a 15 mile run with my training group scheduled for today! I was really looking forward to that since it would be a whole new mileage for me. I even got ready last night hoping I'd wake up okay. But when I woke I realized how foolish it would be to try a long distance run in the rain, after not eating much at all yesterday, and carrying a fever. I do feel somewhat better today, but not enough to run 15 miles. Maybe tomorrow I can. I hope so. I don't want to miss a long run! > RE: Tory's WI > > > Oh Tory - that sucks. I'm so sorry you're sick. Go away, > nasty ol' flu. Bette > >
Guest guest
Tory - I know. When I get sick, it makes me mad too. And I usually think of all sorts of things that could be wrong before I give in and admit I'm sick. Bummer. I pray that you feel better soon!
