Guest guest
Hello All, Just wanted to touch base! Thank-you so much to you Carol/Rob, Bill, Vera, and all of you! I am sorry if I didn't list you all by name! Yes Bill I was already gone! We stayed in ER until 7:30pm then went to a room! And oh yes her 6:oopm meds were 3 hours late so we had hours of excrutiating pain and crying until 1 or 1;30 this morning! My step-dad is with my mom now! I just came home now at 1:00pm tuesday! I myself have the flu fullblown but I promised mama that I would not leave her side! Cipro Drip! Very dehydrated! @ diffrent pills to help with sleep last night! Her temp norm is 97. At 6:ooam she spiked up to a little over 100! So she won't be home tonight! We were very lucky to have a Doc By the name of Alson! Very familiar with MSA! I was very impressed! After the episode last night we will not have any more problems with late meds! I think we scared the poor little nurse so bad that she wrote firm orders! Well gotta go-- Shower time and a little nap before I go back! Thank-you all so so much! Sorry my spelling and everything else is a little off! Bless you Take Care! Amy (Loretta) North Carolina Hope next post will be good news!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Guest guest
Amy, I've been thinking about you and your mother Loretta, and I'm SO glad you took her to the ER. And your (or her) guardian angel must have been watching for you to get a doctor who knows about MSA. What luck! It sounds like she's in good hands now and you can get some rest. Please take care of yourself, the flu can be serious if you are overtired and you don't want to pass it along to your mother. Maybe now your stepfather will take hydration more seriously. Take care, Carol & Rob > Hello All, > Just wanted to touch base! Thank-you so much to you Carol/Rob, Bill, > Vera, and all of you! I am sorry if I didn't list you all by name!
