Guest guest
Hi Everyone I thought I would post my progress for those of you pre- ops who might be a lil nervous.. I am 13 days post-op, open surgery. I feel some soreness in my tummy, no other problems,, I am going back to work today, part time ( I'm self employed, work mainly from home) of course at a slow pace resting when needed. This surgery has been amazing, I have not suffered ONE complication, not even having my foods taste different. I feel like I had some minor operation. I thank God for this speedy recovery, and I have been blessed to have a lot of prayer on a regular basis for my recovery. I learned to listen to my body, I never once over did it. I wanted to give my body all the time it needed to heal. I spent a lot of time listening to beautiful music and imagining sweet and pleasing images. Everyone say's I am literally glowing. I avoided anything upsetting, and noticed that my insides would burn if I got upset about something..Hope this helps some of you to enhance your recovery. Guest guest
That is wonderful about your recovery. I'm happy for you and more than willing to follow in your footsteps. I go for my surgery the 19th. Yea! Jackie Ward Jackie ... I have been rescheduled for the 21st for my surgery ... I have been breathing in those inhalors like I was born with one in my mouth ... and not a cigarette to my lips since the doc called! I am glad to be done with them!
