I gaze at my hand embroidered Serenity Prayer hung in the most frequented

passage in the house and supplement it with Jan's old observation " Ask for

nothing and you will not be disappointed. "

I, too, feel more comfortable with fellow MSAers and caregivers than with

distant/absent " friends " and " family members. "

Forgiveness does not seem to be a formidable issue for me-- most people

simply do not know of illness issues dealt with daily and are occupied with

problems of their own.

When any opportunity at communication or elucidation presents itself it

seems best to push understanding as far as possible despite isolation and

abandonment.

You-all, wonderful companions and sojourners, provide the wisdom and courage

to keep me going.

THANK YOU! May the coming year be kind to you and those you love and care

for.
