Guest guest
Thanks s! Life goes on. And, in fact, 's birthday is tomorrow! We've come along way in 4 years! I love him immensely and despite his severe challenges, he has changed my life and the lives of my family members, infinitely for the better. One of these days I'll get a scanner and send a picture to the list. He's a real cutie! Take care, Lori, Christian (almost 7) and (4 tomorrow! with mito, defects in complexes I and IV) Re: Bad News Beautifully spoken, ...another (Grandmother to Carly and Maddy ... Mitokids) Lori, Please continue to speak out on this site in spite of sometimes when people are "obnoxious". I think sometimes we are all guilty of coming across rude, etc. when we don't mean to. Sometimes the emails don't come out sounding right and other times we're just busy, tired, or down. Sometimes we really feel rotten and mean and just don't care about people for a bit. That is no excuse for hurting others but it happens. I think I've done it too and for any time I have, I deeply apologize and ask forgiveness of anyone I've made feel bad. But we are all needed here. And furthermore, we all NEED to have the healing voices and compassion of the others who truly understand our fears and pains and fatigue, those who walk in our shoes daily and nightly. Please, please, add your own wisdom and love to the group. And allow us to minister to you specifically when you need help and understanding. And thank you for being so brave to speak up about your hurt feelings! That's really hard to do. ScogginsPlease contact mito-owner with any problems or questions.
