Length of time in band (obviously depends on growth spurts, etc.)

# of bands and what correction we'd expect to see

risks with banding (we were told none)

risks of not banding

cost...$3000 or $2700 if you pay all of the cost upfront

measurements (our insurance didn't require them so I had to

ask...they were kind enough to do them for us)

appeal process (they'll tell you to ask the insurance

coordinator)...ask for an appeals packet unless you know that your

insurance will cover it.

If this were your baby would you band them? Why or why not?

Hopefully, this helps with some of the questions that you may want

to ask CT. CT was great and I'd highly recommend banding especially

if you aren't happy with your little one's head shape as this is the

only time to correct it. Our son wore his band 7.5-9.5 months and

is now 15 months. His head looks great...of course it is not

perfect and after all my scrutinizing I still see where it is a

little flat but NO ONE else would! I will do it again if I need to

(baby #2 due end of February). Babies usually adjust to the band

very quickly. Our son was the same happy baby the entire time

banded and we didn't have any skin issues.

Good luck in your decision.
