Use of Cold Medicines, Dimetab and Robitussin

I remember from comments on the list that pseudoephedrine is not a good

medicine for Shy-Drager patients. What about Dimetab (sp) which is also

supposed to dry out the nose and throat.

What about Robitussin which is supposed to have the opposite effect? My

understanding it is supposed to thin out a congested chest and throat.
